FDM 3D Printing and Manufacturing in Houston, Texas.
Small batch FDM production for engineering and manufacturing teams.
Industrial FDM print farm · 10 to 500 unit runs · 24-hour quote turnaround, production lead time confirmed per project · PETG · ASA · PC · Nylon · TPU
Small Batch Manufacturing Without the Tooling Cost
Spline Arc is a Houston based 3D printing farm. We produce functional parts in runs of 10 to 500 units: no molds, no minimum orders, no overseas delays.
- Bridge production: Print parts while steel tooling is being cut
- Low volume runs: 50 units for testing, 200 for market launch
- Same day turnaround: Rush jobs available for urgent needs
- Engineering grade materials: PETG, ASA, PC, Nylon, TPU
One Print Farm. One Turnaround.
Production runs sized to your launch, not our machines.
Our farm runs 24/7. Whether you need 10 brackets or 500 housings, we scale the job across our printer fleet and deliver on time.
Industries We Serve
Aerospace
Structural brackets, ducting manifolds, and lightweight airframe components. Carbon fiber reinforced nylon for high strength to weight applications. Tight tolerances maintained across multi part assemblies. First article inspection standard on all runs.
Agriculture
UAV airframes and mounting hardware for crop spray and mapping platforms. Weather resistant housings and brackets for precision ag equipment. Built for field conditions: UV exposure, moisture, and vibration.
Automotive
Under hood brackets, intake components, bushings, and restoration parts for custom builds and EV conversions. Materials matched to under hood vibration and operational requirements. Short runs for testing, medium runs for market launch.
Industrial Automation
Production line fixtures, sensor housings, robot end of arm tooling, and replacement components. 10 to 500 unit runs with consistent tolerances held across the batch. Designed for repetitive use in industrial environments. Not prototypes. Production parts.
Oil and Gas
Field ready brackets, wear components, and custom tooling for upstream and downstream operations. Materials selected for chemical resistance and static load requirements. Production runs for inventory stocking and turnaround schedules.
Defense
Tactical equipment components, drone airframes, and mission ready brackets. ITAR aware workflows. Domestic manufacturing with batch traceability and material certification available. No ITAR controlled data stored on cloud systems.
Hardware and Technology
Enclosures, mounting systems, and production components for hardware startups and established product companies. From first article to 500 unit runs. Packaging and labeling for direct to customer shipment. We handle the run, you handle the launch.
US Government
Federal and municipal production parts, replacement components, and tooling for government facilities. Domestic supply chain with consolidated billing, WOSB set aside eligibility, and full documentation. Active SAM.gov registration.
NDA Availability
Mutual NDAs available before any files change hands. Most engagements start with an NDA and a 15 minute scoping call. We do not publish, share, or repurpose client geometry, drawings, or photographs. Your IP stays yours.
Materials We Print
PETG
PETG combines the ease of printing of PLA with the durability of ABS. It offers excellent layer adhesion, chemical resistance, and impact strength. Ideal for jigs, fixtures, enclosures, and parts that need to withstand repeated handling.
ASA
ASA provides superior UV resistance and weatherability compared to ABS. It maintains color stability and mechanical properties under prolonged sun exposure. The material of choice for outdoor applications, agricultural equipment, and automotive exterior components.
PC (Polycarbonate)
PC offers exceptional impact resistance and heat deflection up to 145C. It is the strongest standard FDM material available. Used for functional parts that must endure high loads, temperatures, or safety critical applications.
Nylon (PA)
Nylon delivers outstanding wear resistance, low friction, and high fatigue resistance. It absorbs moisture which increases flexibility and impact resistance. Perfect for gears, bearings, living hinges, and parts subject to repetitive motion.
TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane)
TPU is a flexible, rubber like material with excellent abrasion resistance and elasticity. Shore hardness ranges from 85A to 95A. Used for seals, gaskets, flexible mounts, impact absorbing components, and ergonomic grips.
Why FDM for Small Batch Production
No Tooling Costs
Injection molding requires steel or aluminum tooling that costs $10,000 to $100,000 and takes 8 to 16 weeks to machine. FDM 3D printing requires zero tooling. Your first part costs the same as your hundredth. This makes FDM ideal for bridge production, market testing, and low volume runs where tooling economics do not work.
Design Freedom
FDM printing builds parts layer by layer, enabling complex geometries that would be impossible or extremely expensive to machine or mold. Internal lattice structures, conformal cooling channels, and organic shapes are all possible without additional cost.
Rapid Iteration
Design changes require only a file update, not a tooling modification. You can print a design revision today and have parts in hand tomorrow. This accelerates product development cycles from weeks to days.
Domestic Manufacturing
All production happens at our Houston facility. No overseas shipping delays. No customs holds. No minimum order quantities imposed by offshore suppliers. Your parts ship from Texas to anywhere in the US within 1 to 3 business days.
